The only deal I’d consider is the CBJ one — but I doubt they’d offer that in the first place.

Can't see CBJ wanting Johansen back, but NSH should jump at that offer if they do. It's extremely generous to NSH. None of the other proposals are though. The WPG one might be close, but Nikkanen doesn't do much for me. The BOS and TOR proposals aren't worth consideration from NSH's end. Not nearly enough value in either.

The Jets should opt out if Nashville wants Stanley and the 1st.

Should NSH be trading Saros? Do they have another goalie in the pipeline ready to play?

Do they? Don’t know.

Since joining the league Debrusk has 65 goals. Forsberg has 86 in that time. So you are giving up 3 long term assets for 1.5 years of a few extra goals a year without solving the two roster problems. RW2 or LD1, and you won’t be fixing them after moving those assets.

If they move Coyle to RW2 and Stud to C3 maybe, but they have shown no willingness to do that.

Just swapping Debrusk for Forsberg in the lineup is not putting them over the top.

From a value standpoint, ok, but does it really help?

I like most of these deals with the CBJ one being a bit of a stretch given RJ's play. I find the idea of Andersen to NSH interesting. Is there enough cap to resign him/is he the stop gap until Askarov?

Don’t solve 2RW but it is a big upgrade to 2LW. Especially for Krejci.

LD 1 is fine when lauzon comes back. his injury has been noticeable. i think they need a reliable goal scorer to ADD to this group. not upgrade from this group unless you are upgrading say a wagner/kuraly/bjork but thats not going to be enough to get a legit scoring option.

I like Lauzon more than most people do. But he is not an LD1.

this is his 2nd year in the league. he might not be a ld1 right now but he absolutely could be in a couple years.

Probably not until Askarov comes over and proves he's better
