Description
I think the leafs shouldnt resign their ufas until after the expansion draft so this way if Hyman gets picked up by the Kraken and hes a pending ufa so he could just ink back with the leafs. But if hyman Signed a deal then he would be with the Kraken next year and not a leaf.

Who ever is in LTIR they are protected and whoever is in Scratched there available for the kraken to take.

ALL of these signings are after the expansion Draft.
i think the leafs should move on from dermott cause hes had three years to show what hes worth and hasnt taken a step so for me his career in toronto is over, and i think the leafs should move on from freddy because hes too incosisten and they should consider looking to get a 1a 1B type tandem.

You do realize that in the expansion draft teams can either protect 7 forwards / 3 d men / 1 goalie or 4 forwards / 4 d men / 1 goalie?

You only have 7 skaters protected here. Either protect Holl, or Engvall, etc..

And I think Mikheyev is exempt. I’m not sure though.

Mikheyev is exempt. Obv. Robertson is as well.

Really a bunch of nonsense to worry about the expansion. Good teams are going to lose a competent NHL player. Leafs will likely lose one of Holl, Dermot or Kerfoot. Nothing they can do about it.

those are the seven that i WAnt protected i left three open because who knows whos gonna be on this team at the end of the season

im not fussed about losing any of those players ngl
