Description
Saw a Canucks fan trading for Dahlin on here recently and it got me thinking. Boeser would be a great add for Buffalo, don't think Vancouver would do it but still.

Vancouver's left side is pretty much set for the foreseeable future with Hughes, Rathbone, and Juolevi. Plus they still have Schmidt and Edler. Plus I have no interest in trading that kind of package for a player that's been awful just because he was drafted 1st overall

He was great as a rookie he still has potential he’s played 2 good games since the coaching change. Buffalo isn’t trading Dahlin or Eichel this offseason.

Vancouver passes, that's way too much to give up for Dahlin.

Great keep him because you definitely aren't getting Boeser for him let alone Podkolzin too

people get way too caught up in left side vs right side, in reality almost any defenceman at that level can play either side especially one that's young and mobile. I agree it wouldn't make sense for the Canucks, said in the description I didn't think they'd do it. Was mostly just looking at it for Buffalo

Maybe something around Turcotte. Kings are trying to get a "young LHD under the age of 25". Kings fans would know more about who to trade for Dahlin

That’s fine trading him will be a bad idea. Podkolzin is putting up bad numbers in the KHL that must be a little concerning.

Not really. hard to put up numbers when your averaging 8 minutes a night and a low of 2 minutes because of Russian politics

Go look at Kucherov's numbers in the KHL. They screw over every young player that refuses to sign a contract extension
