Description

All youth, no veteran UFA signings or trades ... its unrealistic, but fun. Lines would likely be competitive, but that defense would be overmatched everytime Severson & Smith stepped off the ice.

It was just for fun ... unrealistic post. They will sign vets, just like they did this year, to fill holes & add leadership. If not, they can use the $31 mil in Cap space on me ... I'll risk it & take that one year deal

I wouldn’t mind bringing Kulikov back on another cheap deal. He’s been very steady.

Agreed. Kulikov has been solid, probably their best defender outside the top pair. If Walsh is ready, Kulikov would be a steady hand next to him (or Subban) I vote yes.

Unfortunately the UFA defender class is poor, so he may be in higher demand this offseason. I doubt Fitzgerald offers any of the current UFA defenseman (Murray, Kulikov, Vatanen) more than a 1 year deal again. He will hit the bargain bin to fill the holes, while waiting for the prospects.
