    i feel bad that leafs fans get lumped in to stuff like this, this is why leafs fans have such a bad rep on this site

    It's going to cost more quality assets to get Garland out of Arizona. Probably looking at a first or Amirov/Robertson as the starter.

    Garland is going to want AT LEAST 6 mill Id imagine, could see him getting 8 mill for that kinda term, and the trade starts at Amirov/Robertson and a first, then some complimentary pieces id imagine. probably a roster player as well

    If you want EDM 3rd you cant just give another 3rd you have to give something else to make it fair

    IF they Leafs were in on him, which again makes no sense since we have to deal with a new contract for Hyman and find a new goalie, he costs Robertson + another B+ prospect + 1st. But agreed ARI would probably want a roster player which we don't have. Only prospects and picks. I could see him coming in around 5-6mil IMO. Comparables to me are Ehlers, Drouin, Lindholm type deals

    6 mil is a little to much for garland id say around 5 is a better price for him.

    If you are going to trade for the defencemen of your dreams at least make it a RD.

    Edmonton trade is brutal they were going to trade you a defence.

    Im gonna disagree with you Garland is the real deal, he is a young player who is well rounded and is snifffing a point per game on the Yotes while maintaining shooting percentages and the such that would imply he is actually slightly underperforming what should be expect of him, and he has a bit of nastiness to to him, imo he would edge out Nylander as 4th best forward on the Leafs if he ended up there
