Flames aren't giving up futures anymore, they're gonna be sellers 100% so we wouldn't accept that.

I believe that this is an offseason post. I am curious as to who Pit protects over MP that allows Seattle to select him.

Dumo, Matheson, Letang. Gives us 4m in cap space and is easily replaced by POJ.

Flames are more than likely headed into a rebuild so I don't see this happening even in the offseason, there would be no point in making a win-now kind of move.

You would honestly protect matheson over MP? There is maybe a .05% chance Seattle would take Mike Matheson solely due to contract. Protect MP over him and Trade MP.

Is MPs contract really that much better than Matheson? Matheson is clearly a better player, he’s not paid that much more then Petey
