I assumed this was an Oiler's fan post, clearly I was wrong.

Edmonton needs larsson he will be resigned. I'd do a turris for the french redkneck swap any day.

Care to explain the reasoning behind these moves?

Don't know much about F.Berglund, but unless he's >>>>> Sandin in terms of upside (I'm confident he's not), then these moves don't seem to make a lot of sense.

Brodie has taken over as the Leafs best defenseman, and Reiley is a defensive liability. This would be a better playoff style team in my opinion.

1. Coburn is awful. He's having a hard time staying in the lineup with the Sens. Have you seen their Dcore recently? So the difference betwen Rielly and Coburn on the left side is massive, so right off the hop you've downgraded the left side D. Again, Coburn is awful.

2. Rielly has his warts, and I'm not sure if it's wise to keep him past this season, but it would be foolish IMO to move him in-season. Leafs still need some offence from their D, and he runs a solid PP. When the Leafs are down a goal, Rielly gets double shifted and is constantly creating offence/chances off the rush. Having that Dman on the team is important. Leafs aren't going to be playing with the lead every game. Brodie isn't even a great PP2 option, let alone PP1. He's serviceable on the PP, but you don't want him to to running your PP1. The only time it makes sense to move on from Rielly is if Sandin is ready for full-time duty, or you get a decent 2-way dman back in the trade.

3. Rielly is worth way more than this in a trade. Just the fact that he's got another year on his contract means he's worth way more than Larsson.
