Description

Went through and found some options for the Avs fora back up goalie. Most of these are going to be dependent if the teams will be sellers by the TDL. Given how well the Avs have performed, I do not see then giving up any roster player nor anyone that's on the taxi squad. It wouldn't be wise to mess with this teams chemistry. Picks nd prospects will be the only thing leaving the Avs. With that said, who do you think the Avs should target?

Demko and Allen aren't for trade IMO. Demko is the future starter and Allen is playing amazing and could be useful for a cup run

Only way I see mtl moving allen is if at the deadline they are in a bad spot and will miss the playoffs. Better to get value before seattle takes him for free

My fault on demko. I thought I read holtby had a no movement clause, he has a modified no trade clause. So I was thinking they would be losing demko for nothing in the expansion draft.

Allen, like I stated depends where the team may be at at the deadline

Montreal is pretty much not going to be sellers at the deadline now IMO. Because we will have so many games in hand that it will be too tough to call. As it stands now we have at least 2 games on every team ahead of them and 3 games on those behind us in the standings. We still have 2 more games that are canceled meaning that we could end up with 5-7 games in hand minimum over every other team in the division by Tuesday and even that game is not guaranteed.

To Grubauer absolutely. He has decent numbers on a small sample size. He may be a star on the devils, but look where their at.

He needs to get healthy before that can happen. I'd love to see him back with the Avs. Plus a fourth maybe a little high, have it conditional. If he plays x many games or win the cup, ect..

Mhmm maybe because grubauer is on one of the best teams in the league while blackwood is one on of the worst teams in the league. Don't forget but Devils have mostly offensive defensemen. Anyway Blackwood is basically untouchable

Bernier, Rittich, and Raanta would be my top 3 targets. I wouldn't give up much more than a 3rd for one of them though. Anyone with more term or RFA expiry doesn't make sense due to the expansion draft so I'd really only be looking at rental Gs

Bernier seems to be injury prone, otherwise he'd be a perfect puck up.

also the goalie they just picked up they could send to them or any team they trade with a goalie cause he could be a seller teams backup
