You Drunk?
Guy has 10 goals, while playing on the Devils, bring physicality which they need more of and speed.
He's a Hyman style player, on a good contract

His defense is AWFUL
Hes big and fast, but that doesnt make him good
Sure he has the raw tools to be good, but I would not touch him with a 10ft pole
He has one of the WORST defensive impacts among forwards in the d-zone. He is a literal pylon

I don't think its fair to judge Wood based on last year. This season he seems like a completely changes player. Much better offensively and more mature. He's not amazing defensively, but he's solid.

Devils likely accept that.
But I'd have little interest in Kerfoot (would rather take Joey Anderson back)

Hes still not better than Kerfoot, nor does he have better potential than Liljegren

I also doubt the Devils would want Kerfoot back

Wood is better than Kerfoot. If Kerfoot was that good, he wouldn't be in every single Leafs trade proposal.

You need to remember that 90% of leafs fans are delusional and only care about grit and the glory days of Darcy Tucker and Wendel Clark
Kerfoot is a good middle 6 C/W
Miles Wood is a bottom 6 grinder

He brings more to the table then what Kerfoot does. There is also a Salary part of this as well. Woods is bigger and more physical, and can actually score at the same time.
Liljegren - He was drafted in 2017, if he was going to be an All Star D I think he would have made the jump by now. He has some of the leats amount of games in the NHL form his draft year. I just do not see him even on the tea next year.

By your name we can tell you sit in a chair and look up numbers. Watch the Games and see. Physicality is coming back. The wear of playoffs is real.
The teams that have won the cup, look what they brought in that year to do so.

Wood plays bottom 6 on the Devils because of chemistry and playing style. He's been playing all over the lineup for the Devils recently due to players being injured. Wood would be a great fit on the Leafs second line.
Kerfoot is overpaid, and has 15 points in 33 games. Kerfoot is also on a much better team and easier division which should increase his point totals. Wood brings more physically and has 14 points (10 goals) in 31 games. Wood is on a bad team in a hard division.

Leaf fans either overrate Kerfoot or underrate Kerfoot. Bottom line is I would definitely not trade Wood for Kerfoot straight up.
