i didn't pay attention to taxi we'd send down more guys. And you can have a 3rd party retain another 50% on a player (ex. Brassard to PIT) so Hall's new cap hit is 2M for my purposes, so I created Hall at that number and LTIRed Hall so that his cap wouldn't affect my post

Take out the 3rd and the 5th, and I could live with that return for NSH. TOR still has enough B prospects in the system after this, that they can afford to essentially skip day two of this year's draft.

Amirov, a first, and Liljegren to acquire a guy and play him on his offiside?

And you think Bernier is an upgrade on Andy?

this year (and last year) he's an upgrade. Plus he makes 2M less which is a factor. Bernier has a .918 sv% playing for Detroit, Andersen has a .897 playing for the best team in the North. I know sv% doesn't tell you everything but when the guy playing on a basement team has stats that are THAT much better... yeah, it makes a difference. Plus Campbell is 5-0 this season, Bernier could end up being the backup even which is more doable at 3M

and @BCAPP Ekholm has experience on the right side i believe, plus part of the trade value is for Jarnkrok who would be our Coleman-type acquisition

Buffalo is not taking on 50% retention and Kerfoot to get a measly 2nd and 4th for Hall.

Toronto's offer must include a 1st or he isn't going there.

all the insiders are saying that they don't think they'll get a first round pick for him.

I'd prefer Reimer, He's done more in his career than Bernier. And he is my favorite Goalie, his only BAD season was when the leafs suck as a team, he was good, the D and forwards sucked. But Bernier is still a good option.

There are multiple teams seemingly interested in him, so a team is bound to give up a 1st. That being said, a divisional rival must pay us more than if Colorado were to ask.
