So MTL now have no use for Danault? but COL would?

This doesn't make ANY sense.

Yea, like wtf. In what world does Colorado not need him?! If Col needs a 3C, Danault is the best one out there. He's so good he thinks he's a top2 lol...

Mtl is no cup contender, you got to admit. They are sellers but don't want to lose face,

They just bought today. Read the news. While you are at it, count the number of centers on Colorado's roster.

Jost Nichushkin and Donskoi are playing expectional as a 3rd line since they were put together. Would Danault be a huge add to the bottom 6 yes. Does he fetch Barron, no but probably Timmins who is NHL ready now.

They won’t sell this year. I think Bergevin’s jobs on the line. Probably needs to make the playoffs and win a round.

Even if they did want to trade for him and he don't want to sign in mtl why don't they wait till he's a free agent then don't have to give anything up

im not saying hes not a good option hes a great option but were looking for a 3rd line center we could potentally use mac on wing and put bruky or saad on third and have kadri and dantlut

You don’t play MacK on the wing period, teams struggle to find 1C you don’t willing move one of the 3 best out. Sure you could break the Kadri line up to spread the depth, but right now I wouldn’t touch the Jost Donskoi Nichushkin line, they are crushing it defensively and contributing points. But it’s never a bad thing to have options.

mac has horrible faceoffs and if danault can play wing have him take faceoff then mac goes back to center

Landy already does that particularly on the left side, and regardless face off win % until they track pk face offs and crucial late period ones don’t really matter. The Avs in their 48 pt season led the league in face off percentages.

all i was saying is if we add a second center who can play wing and take faceoffs better than landy he could replace landy for faceoff for mac
