Not the kind of player the Leafs should get and Dermott is important to the 3rd pairing. Now, without Dermott, Marincin is one injury from the lineup, which is not a recipe for success at all

Ottawa’s not adding for Dermott and a 3rd when they’re already retaining.

HAHAHAHAHA. No. No they don't. Reilly is playing FAR BETTER than Dermott this season and Ottawa will get a 3rd for Dzingel without retaining salary. Ottawa declines on this trade as it is, adding to the ask just gets them to hang up louder.
