Description
Maybe next year will be better.
With Quinn and Ruotsalainen in the line up and they are in a different division with a good coach.
Maybe Kevyn Adams will take over both duties GM and HC so the Pegulas can save some money.

I think the roster will change and Quinn is not yet ready for the NHL.

In my opinion for the sabres to turn the corner they need a top line winger.
I don't mind having Skinner eichel but pair them with a top talent somehow. Quinn if he is ready for nhl it won't be top line.
I think olofsson needs to be a 3rd line scorer and I think playing top 6 gives him too many minutes 5v5.
I think they need to move on from eakin and okposo. And replenish with either vet minimum talent or elc talent.
For defense if you run McCabe Bryson and dahlin on the left that means you need 2 stay out home RHD to pair with dahlin and Bryson.
I think it's time to move on from Risto. Pairs could look like
Dahlin borgen
McCabe joki
Bryson and whoever you sign to play your stay at home dman
Goalies aren't bad but it would be pretty nerve wrecking to have UPL backup with no experience to this point

I agree about Quinn, it was a terrible pick. He has ONE goal with Rochester. I put him in the line up as I do not see any other RW in our system.

I think it's time to move on from Risto. Pairs could look like I move Ristolainen out, but I think he is actually a very solid defenseman
Dahlin borgen
McCabe joki
Bryson and whoever you sign to play your stay at home dman
Goalies aren't bad but it would be pretty nerve wrecking to have UPL backup with no experience to this point I changed it and signed Anderson
I made adjustments as your comments.

EDIT: If the Sabres traded Hall, Miller, Montour, and Ristolainen, the Sabres could have add 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a third to the draft.
While a weak draft picks could become Olofsson, Bryson or Borgan take in the 7th, 4th and 4th round respectively.

I have a theory about this draft. The pandemic and resulting interruption in play, resulting in loss of playing time, means that this group of youngsters is the most underevaluated collection of talent in history. Scouts have much smaller samples by which to judge them. Therefore, there is going to be a much greater number of prospects underestimated (and overestimated). Essentially, this draft is going to be throwing darts at a board in a pub, and under those conditions, the more darts you have, the better. In other words, I think that there are going to be quite a few surprises in the third, fourth and maybe even later rounds. (Remember that Brayden Point was taken 79th overall.). That's why I'm so excited that Los Angeles has 7 picks in the first four rounds, and the idea of stocking up on draft picks is a great idea for Buffalo.

Great observation.
This may be the year to get 2 seconds or multiple later picks instead of one first round pick.
I am not a fan of Adams as I think he made many poor moves (e. g. why did he not resign Hammond, why sign Eakin for TWO year and pass on Larsson; Irwin and Davidson are AHL D-men, while passing on Redman and Gilmore who were already in the system), but getting the extra fifth round pick for Staal and pulling the trigger was excellent.
BTW, I remember Yzerman moving up to get Point, and mused, he must know something.

Well, he was a non-standard choice, it's not clear yet. He is definitely a late bloomer, I like his playmaking ability, although initially I thought he was a goal-scorer, he also has a good two-sided game, if he can reveal his capabilities as a goal-scorer, it might be a good choice, we can only wait and hope.

I think we will see this have similar results as Bergevin taking Kotkaniemi over Tkachuk. Time will tell, if Adams wanted him, trade down at least one spot for an additional pick.

It is also known that he tried to trade with Nashville for #11, but they declines.

Yes he did, but he asked for too much.
Regardless, moving up to get Peterka was a great move, taking Quinn at 8th OA was a terrible move.

EDIT:
I seem to remember that he asked for a 2nd to move up.
A late 3rd was the price to move up 2 spots.

3rd? We trade #38 and #100 for #34
