Sabres fan here. I don't see the Sabres retaining 50% on Hall and taking back two years of Byron for that return...unless they value Leskinen far more than I suspect they do.

Agreed. We have overpaid wingers that dont produce lined up in a queue. We need a coach, i expect the fewer of these guys around, the better. Its gonna be hard enough selling a coach on a career killing job without trying to explain just how much value there is in those 2nd and 3rd round picks that wont be around for 4 years- if at all.

Jets shouldn't use most of their remaining salary space on what would be a fourth line winger in Winnipeg (and he wouldn't fit right now without salary retention). The Jets are more likely to go for someone on defense, preferably RD.
