Description

This is trade #1 from Brian Lawton on the NHL Network in his segment, LAWT$ make a deal.

In this segment, Brian Lawton goes dumpster diving for trade ideas from random users on instagram.

Nashville has specifically said they want an Ekholm trade to look like the Muzzin trade between the Leafs and the Kings.

Once Debrusk is added, this goes way above and beyond that.

This is a dishonourable fleecing against the Bruins and Brian Lawton should be ashamed of himself for bringing this up.

I was even more shocked that Lawton devoted 3 minutes of airtime to this nonsense and gave it serious consideration, leading me to believe that he thought it might be a good idea.

If Brian Lawton can't provide intelligent commentary on the NHL network, he needs to find another line of work IMO.

This is a disgrace :(

Maybe Lawton is as bad a bust as a commentator as he was as a first-overall draft pick.

Cant see the preds being interested in Debrusk, and definitely not if they are including a 3rd
