I acknowledge that I have stated in the past that Taylor Hall is worth a low first round pick.

Also, other ACGMs on here have made solid cases that Hall is actually worth a 2nd round pick instead.

But for Brian Lawton, a massive overpayment is absolutely essential.

He thinks Hall is worth both a 1st and a 2nd + Alex Kerfoot.

He says, "I don't mind this trade. This trade would have some legs for me. I, actually, really truly believe that."

Brian Lawton probably lights $100 dollar bills on fire as a hobby if he has that perspective.

He then says, "The Buffalo Sabres are a lot more fixable than how they are playing right now. They will be a good team a lot quicker than people think."

Has Brian Lawton been living under a rock for the last 10 years??

I guess the money he makes off the NHL network does grow on trees after all :/
