Also, very much not what the Kings are looking for. Blake is looking for a LHD under 25 that can play top line minutes. The 2nd and 3rd pair D are beyond set with Mikey Anderson and Tobias Bjornfot well on their way for those spots.

We can protect both Andersson and Grundstrom in the expansion draft. We wouldn't protect Pettersson from Seattle, so we'd almost certainly lose him. And that's not even addressing the question of whether he's worth both of those guys (which, in my opinion, he's not).
