    What's the point of having cap space if the Leafs won't use it?

    Having Tavares is a much better option than signing RNH and overpaying Hyman, Paquette and Simmonds.

    Also Driedger-Campbell tandem would be probably the most nameless goalie tandem in the league. Both are decent back up 1B goalies, but can't be trusted as constant starters.

    Tavares is good, his past few seasons have been New York Standard wich is still good, But he showed us he could come close to 50 goals with the leafs, by Toronto fan standards he is under performing, I think he's doing fine though.

    Tavares for 11M until 34 yrs old is far better than RNH at 7.5M until 35 yrs old. Tavares is so much better.

    Would rather have Tavares at 15 million a season than RNH at 7.5...

    I must watch a different Tavares than most.
