Description
As much as I hate Debrusk I’m not trading him for D help when the secondary scoring is the issue. If I’m trading Debrusk at the deadline it’s a hockey deal for an upgrade to the forward group preferably with term. If not ride it out and reevaluate in the offseason where more options will present themselves.

MIN and ARI (Garland) pass.
Raanta deal is good.

This is like the third proposal I've seen sending Kuraly to the Wild for a 3rd, and for the life of me I cannot figure out where the idea came from or why the Wild would even consider it. We have no need for any more fourth liners, and even if we did, they don't get 3rd round picks.

You're undervaluing garland. ARZ sees those as scraps for a legitimate top6 rw

I wasn’t sure who to send Kuraly to thought Minny might need the center depth with playoff experience but I could be mistaking.

Wasn’t sure how high they were on him I know he’s very good but they are in the selling business what would you consider fair value for him? He surely doesn’t land a Studnicka or a first does he? Bjork has untapped potential and I see him as a top 6 on another team some reason Bruce just doesn’t give him long enough chances

Garland will cost A prospect, B prospect, 1st, 2nd
Kase is non-tender candidate, Bjork is 4th liner and 4th rounder is, well, a 4th rounder

Studnicka, Beecher, 1st, 2nd probably the ballpark for Garland

The comment above is ARZ asking price for him ^

That's a bit excessive. One of the players, the 1st, maybe the 2nd, but maybe a slightly lesser piece, would be enough if that's the type of package Arizona was looking for.

Asking maybe, getting no.

2nd and Lauko realistic.

But they should make a big push for a Keller/Garland package.

Since Boston doesn't really have a top forward prospect, I think its about right.
Two B+ forwards, late 1st, and a 2nd.

oh for sure. Nobody is gonna pay that. But ARZ has every right to ask for that, and why wouldn't they. Might as well try to fleece someone.

2nd and Lauko isn't realistic either. Realistic is somewhere in between, and would almost certainly include your 1st.

Are you saying Boston should be trying to acquire both Keller and Garland, or that they should be putting together a package for one of them?

1st, Fine. Steen is about the top prospect paired with it.

Both

I would love to see what kind of package Boston tries putting together for both. Based on offering a 1st+Lauko for Garland, I don't see how it's even possible to get both. Boston doesn't have high enough quality futures.

Yeah, there's nothing there that won't be beaten by another team in terms of quality. Every team has those types of assets in spades, and will be offering better ones.

2nd + Lauko gets you Garland for one year maybe.
Studnicka + 1st might get you Garland for two years.
But he gets 5+ years on open market.

I said 2nd and Lauko for Garland. Not 1st.

Zona wants/needs to cut payroll which is why they wanted to dump OEL so bad. Which is why they are listening to Garland offers before he goes to arb.

Keller makes 7m and does not produce like a 7m player.

Probably can’’t/won’t get them to. Should try tho.

I see, you're trying to buy good players for pennies on the dollar because you think Arizona's biggest priority is getting rid of the money.

He’s an ok middle 6er. Not a 1st line stud.

The reason why he is valued so high is becuase of age and team control and cap hit. I understand he isn’t a stud but all those things factor in he’s 25 with I think 2 more years of RFA and a good cap hit for a contenting team
