Description

I get it, Hall back in Edmonton is a touchy thing. But Nuge can't drive a line. Drai and McD have been so good together, getting Hall on the wing as the driver would really be a good fit...just saying. Also, he's likely fairly cheap right now with Buffalo draining his value.

I'd like to give Samorukov a look on the 3rd pair before we move him. We do have a big surplus at LD though. Would be nice to see if he can outplay Lagesson first, he has a similar style of play from the stats I've seen. IMO a Hall trade isn't the right move as long as our 2nd pair LD is one of Lagesson, Jones or Russell. Make big fixes, possibly trade for the right guy this summer, and make a big deal next TDL. Maybe move Neal in a deal next TDL if the team is clicking, something that could put us over the edge. Save picks and prospects for the right time, I figure Holland will be patient. IMO, at most a 3rd or 4th gets moved this year, maybe with a roster player

Hard to drive when the tires of the entire team are completely flat. He's a good player, just not one who can turn an entire team around outside of his MVP season. But he won't have to in EDM...just bolster a secondary line.
