Does Vegas really need yet another top6 winger? They already have 5.

Get a solid 1C. Stephenson's a good 3C, but I wouldn't trust him as the 1C. He gets carried by his wingers.

Stephenson has been playing just fine as the 1c. There aren’t any 1c’s available this offseason in free agency, and wingers are cheaper to pay for in trades so I’d rather roll with Stephenson as 1c still.

Running theme with all recent winners has been that they all have immaculate center core with top level players. Vegas don't really fit to the criteria, hence they tend to struggle in playoffs.

penguins can't afford to bring MAF back, and probably don't with how both their goalies are playing.

Vegas does not need either of Garland or Janmark.

Vegas has Karlsson, Glass and Stephenson. Glass should be ready for 2C next year I would hope. He could play 1C with Stone and Patches and Stephenson could take some shifts in his place when/if needed.

Although, without Garland and Janmark you would have more cap space. I think Martinez gets a bit more money, but that doesn’t affect this too much.

Maybe a more proven backup goalie and a 3rd line LW. or possibly even a short term middle 6 C who can play in the top 6.
