Vegas has a better chance of taking me hockey playing niece than Ryan. 7.25m gets you a lot of hockey player(s) not named Ryan.

He's having an extreme off year in a new system. I feel that Ryan will rebound and Vegas needs to hit the cap floor.

They have a cap floor of like 40M they are going to have a problem reaching it and it not the money that's necessarily the issue with Ryan it's the term

I don't see CBJ trading away their center - who's doing absolutely amazing this year - for Turris, Paul and Lazar. Columbus is doing great and I don't even think a monumental turn around where they LOSE the next 15 games will move Wennberg. And Ryan definitely won't be the victim to LV. They're gonna have no problem reaching the cap floor with other contracts. Ryan has a lot of years left over 7 million dollars and if he's already struggling now I don't think a new system or training regiment could truly save that.
