I think we can definitely add to that 3rd line centre position. Safe to say Jankowski hasn't worked out so adding a top 9 forward would give us 4 legit scoring lines.

they already have a 3C, Blueger. That line is getting 15 minutes a night and fans are just going to have to deal with that.
If they add it's to the 4th line and they won't spend big.

I agree, pens are not spending much if anything this deadline, unless a player is really undervalued to acquire. They just don't have the luxury to keep spending their assets anymore.

depth isn't what is holding this team back at this point.
The problems on this team have been fixed player wise. The defense is much better than it use to be.
They added the right forward in Kap.
The 3rd line has guys who can play 8-10 minutes a night and make an impact if the coach pulls his head out his ass.
But that in the end is the real problem. Because the power play remains broken, an he can't manage to figure out how to bench guys who don't belong on the ice.....Yes that's you Jankowski!

It doesn't matter what any other team adds. As long as the team is healthy they got their top 3 lines set. The 4th line isn't going to be what makes or breaks the team.

Only player they consider in that article is Glendening and I hope they dont make a move for him. There are better options out there.

Yea all the Pens need to find is another center. The buzzsaw line will technically be their 4th line whether people want to believe it or not, although they will essentially receiving very similar even strength ice time as the 3rd line. It will be a 3A/3B kind of situation.

True, the pens don’t have a whole lot of assets to deal, but players like Glendening, Haula, Cousins (just naming a few. There are others) won’t cost a ton to acquire.
