The Canucks trade is fair but they still aren't doing it

Konecny isn't being traded for futures if he's moved its for a greater impact top 6 forward or top pair RHD

I mean that pick should be flipped and I could take out Regula and the 2nd and add Reichal, who's been pretty damn good and some hawks fans believe he is nhl ready next season

Not a chance Hughes drops to 7th. Even with his injury.

I still don't think he would be moved for that. I know there are some fans who are fed up with Konecny because of his bubble performance and somewhat underperforming in the goal department this season but I'm still very high on him and believe that he can easily get back to his form from last years regular season I think he's only moved for a bigger piece than him

One way to ensure you won’t move out of rebuilding mode is to trade your 1st round picks, especially top 10 lottery picks, to get rid of contracts that will expire before you next make the playoffs.
        VAN declines.

No way in hell should we trade reichel+17th for konecny. And yes I’m one of the hawks fans that’s very high on reichel and thinks he’s nhl ready next year. Same ppg in the DEL as stutzle last year and he’s already playing against men over there unlike the guys in juniors or NCAA
