Bruins decline. Don't need another RHD. Reider is potentially interesting but doesn't help the top 6.

Avs accept that. It would be a perfect trade to open capspace and restock some draft picks. It's probably more than he'll bring back though, as he's having a bit of a down year.

What do you think the price for Ullmark straight up would be? Would a 2021 3rd get it done?

Of course Aves accept haha. No one in their right mind is giving up a 2nd for Compher. Buffalo nor any team would give up that much. And no, Ullmark does not get moved for a 3rd. BUF would be nuts to move him, he's the only netminder that can stop the puck. IF they moved him, it would most likely be for a decent forward prospect or 2. I'd rather keep him and grab another goalie to contend for #1 mins.

Ullmark will be a free agent less than a month after the deadline. It's probably worth it for Buffalo to trade him for futures if he isn't extended by the deadline.

Given the market for UFA backup goalies is good for buyers I doubt Ullmark will get higher than a 3rd. Bernier, Reimer, Raanta/Kuemper, Rittich, Dubnyk, Wedgewood, etc offer reasonable alternatives to Ullmark if Buffalo did their heels in.
