Description

Bogosian pulls a Spezza and says that he’ll retire if anyone claims him off of waivers. He clears, and then Toronto goes crazy on deadline day. One of these moves if for Jordie Benn. Vancouver waives him, he clears, then there is a three-way deal between Vancouver, Nashville, and Toronto, where Vancouver retains $1M on Benn, and Nashville retains $300K on him.

With Zaitsev and Zub all but guaranteed to be top 4 LHD, and with JBD turning pro, I'm not sure this is the best move for Ottawa. I'm betting they want to re-sign Reilly too, especially if Sanderson plans to go back to UND next season.

Is Holl worth that much? Rielly and Dzingel probably get a 4th and 3rd, top end is a 3rd and a 2nd. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see Holl being traded for that kind of draft capitol.
