See that's the thing, you can't say JEE has all this value as defensive center whether it by trade value or value to the team & its system, but then want to pay him based on his offensive production as the primary factor. (& his agent is aware of that as well)

You may see Boldy this year when BC is out of the Frozen Four. Kids a stud.

I don't see MIN making that trade for Strome either, but that would be the ask & then everyone moves on.
If Guerin offered Khusnutdinov + 2021 1st (PIT) at the deadline, i dont think Gorton takes it & i guess NYR would have to take a contract. (Johansson) ...50/50

IDK 3.5-4 mil AAV seems pretty standard for a 3C, couple that with the fact he’s still an RFA. You logic is fine, I just disagree with it. I agree he’s worth a good amount trade value wise but that doesn’t make his contract anymore valuable and it’s just one of those scenarios where he’s more valuable to the team than the return he would get.

And if Strome brought back a 1st and Marat, Groton would be a fool not to take it IMO. But that’s just me, I’m not actually running the Rangers.

Dude Guerin doesn't give a Jack about Ryan suter, or Parise

The younger movement has taken over in Minnesota

Yes, you are wrong because any move Guerin has made was everything to bring in new leadership,. Guerin isn't making move by on helping parise or suter, that is a fact

You are wrong about wild cap. Wild have close to 25 mil in cap room, & will have more if dumba is traded, , or one of cam Talbot/ soucy gets selected or dumba selected

I don't have any illusions about Guerin" helping out" Suter Or Parise, im not quite sure where that's coming from.
I don't think Guerin is gonna wait 4 years until those guys are gone to make a push if the team is sitting where it is in the standings... That's it, if they drop cuz they cant score , its not an issue.
When your 19th in GF & dead last on the PP but still a playoff caliber team, you generally try to fix that before the playoffs.

I also said the Wild Cap situation does NOT look bad. So again, it likes you are just typing & not reading.
Oh my god, your wearing a JEE jersey as you type this aren't you?

The Athletic is trash by the way.

I’ve read it too. He still doesn’t create offense and is reliant on another playmaker if he does put up points. He should def be in the Selke discussion but he’s no where near a top 10 C in the league. He’s an important part of a winning team as a fantastic checking C that can help control possession but there at least 20 guys I would pick above him as a C.
