I think it's either Buffalo or Arizona

Eh, Ottawa's not quite there yet. They only had 1 season where they had high expectations only to fail, that being 2017-2018. Every year since Eichel was drafted we heard about how they were supposed to get better, or this was the upswing and Eichel was finally going to have players to play with.

I mean their owner is trash so that's why they're over there. ARZ just doesn't have fans while BUF is bad management...

The Coyotes have absolutely terrible ownership, and they don’t have a 1st. Otherwise the team/employees are fine.

Buffalo has the 10 years of losing, which is a massive problem.

Ottawa doesn’t touch the other two. Melnyk is a bad owner, but he’s not nearly as bad as Meruelo, and the organization is actually in a pretty good spot with a bright future right now in comparison to the other two.

Umm, the problem is clearly ownership in Arizona. Florida also has attendance issues, but they’re still a good organization.

What do you mean "worst franchise"? The team? Organization? Both? Are you just talking about right now? Or are you talking about throughout the franchise's history?

There were 6 teams in the league the last time the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup so that alone puts them among the worst. The other 5 Original 6 teams have Championships since then.

If it were the 80s I'd agree with you but MLSE has come a long way from the Ballard days.
