I'm not saying the post above is any good but what on earth makes you think that an inconsistent, offensively sheltered 45% on draws, 0.39PPG underwhelming C would be a significant piece in an Eichel trade? Suzuki maybe, but Kotkaniemi projects as a pretty good middle six center at this point and nothing as extravagant as you're saying.

Underwhelming? Hes 20. He had a better PPG at 18 than both Hughes, Kakko (Laf) while playing almost exclusively with Lehkonen and Armia.... This year hes one of our most dangerous player especially on the pp. He could easily have 8-10 more points if it wasnt for poor goalscoring instinct from his linemates.

Its so frustrating to hear other fans calling him a fringe middle six player when hes had better seasons then some other top prospects who arent treated this way. Hes gonna be a 70pts plus center.

That puts him in Nugent Hopkins, Duchene, Malkin, Kuznetsov company. Just doubt that severely, I didn’t say fringe, he will be a good middle six centre. He’s scoring at a .39 ppg clip. Maybe he bumps that above .5 in a couple seasons but the 70 point guys your comparing him to have been 0.7PPG most of their careers. You’re dreaming if you think he equates to that
