Now instead of hearing how packages aren’t enough for eichel, we get to hear how they’re not enough for dahlin.

Tbf they're two crazy skilled players you don't really find that often that would for certain live up to potential in an org that isn't toxic from top to bottom. I get what you're saying though some of my fellow fans have some crazy takes on here. It's a defense mechanism after what we've gone through. .

I don’t think this is enough for dahlin. I think many if the Eichel trades are lacking too.

They aren’t giving up Romanov but now that he has graduated I just don’t think they have a prospect that fits the Bill.

I mean ghule a 1st and kk maybe gets the conversation started.

Kotkaniemi is not interesting. Imagine Sabres fans packaging Mittelstadt with a mid round first for Lafreniere or Hughes, how they would get ripped to shreds, but when other teams do it, Sabre fans are required to bow down and accept the glorious offer while giving up franchise players

In a bubble their asks are pretty accurate, but it’s so difficult to get value when it’s know players wants out. I get that technically the team doesn’t have to deal them but I feel for all involved this needs to be the nukes of all nukes. Like, if they could pay to just become and expansion team it’d be a positive

Did you seriously compare Thompson with kotkaniemi? Those players are miles apart. I suggest 3 good pieces to start with and you suggest Thompson and a mid 1st.

You don’t want caufield or Poehling (in my opinion), that leaves kk and ghule add a 1st. Still think it needs more. Just not sure what. Maybe primeau? Having him and UPL would be a sturdy future between the pipes.

I say forget the draft pick -KK, Ghule, Primeau, Jayden Struble for Dahlin - It will suck watching Dahlin being a 60-70 pt guy for Montreal but 3 or 4 pieces towards a solid future isn't a bad exchange

When did I say anything about Thompson??? Mittelstadt and Kotkaniemi both have similar stats so they are very comparable

Lol sorry, I don’t know how I thought Thompson. Same applies to mittelstadt though. Not exactly similar. Kk is still younger and way more valuable with better numbers.

Mitts is 1 draft year older, Kotkaniemi has played 13 more games and only has 13 more points (3 Goals)
