Hurts the cap & getting a look at Kravstov & maybe Barron & SG isnt a need, NYR have a deep backend.

Maybe Philly will take TD now ?

It all depends on how much you value Reunanen and Robertson. Are they going to be that good in just their rookie season?
If your answer is yes, then you don't do this. If not, you do.

Don't need Ghosts "ole" matador style Defense for 4.5 per year for 2 more years . Would even rather sign an UFA LD at a third of the cost for the bottom pair if need be, Heck, id rather pluck Nick Holden off of waivers for the bottom pair if i had to take one. Hard Pass.

That good doesn’t have to mean that much it’s for a 3rd pair spot and even if it’s a growth year one of the two of them should be totally fine in that spot

From there it’s a gamble on who’s going to be the better player: gostisbehere or one of reunanen/robertson. Hefty price, yes, but I’m not as scared by it, in regards to saving cap.

Now I’ll be honest I haven’t looked into the free agency pool next offseason, so there very well may be someone who’d make a better bargain, but hell no to Holden...
