Description

The Flyers are not going to make a run so I make a light sell without mortgaging everything at the deadline. However, this offseason they need to break-up the core. Preferably, Voracek is the one to be moved in my opinion. Obviously defense is the glaring issue, but I do not see a fix to the issue and the division is too tough to leapfrog teams and make a run. Chuck needs to sell some pieces and retool for next season.

He is scratched almost every game. haha. When he does play there is some good and some really really bad, but that is the Flyers as a whole.

Pittsburgh doesn't need another defender, but if Laughton is available I would love to see him in Pittsburgh.

It would be such a Flyer thing if Ghost walks for free. Goes to Pittsburgh and rediscovers his 60pt a season potential with their arch-rival. So as a Flyers fan, I just assume the worst haha. Laughton is very underrated can play up and down the lineup inside the dot and out. I think any team that would acquire him for a run would be better-off. He is just a good hockey player.

If the Flyers sell, he would be one of the first guys moved because he is on an expiring deal and could fetch a solid return.

If we had the cap space and roster spot I would absolutely put a claim in on him, but we have neither right now lol. And I agree on Laughton. I think he could bring something to a Malkin Kapanen line that would really make them complete.
