comparing a prospect to an NHLer whos producing at his worst is kinda ridiculous

Let’s just take that one sentence from my comment and throw the rest out and completely out of context.... I don’t care what Dahlin’s point totals are, I know what he can do and has a great amount of potential. I also know he needs a ton of work in his own end so comparing points with someone that is labeled as a defensive D is ridiculous. I also know his point totals are probably screwed up from being on one of the most dysfunctional teams. So what do you think of the value?

That DET offer is one of the most absurd trades I've seen on here.

And that doesn't even get you close to Eichel. If Fox or Miller aren't involved then it's a waste of time.

Buffalo wants 4 first round material players/picks. Kakko, Schneider, Lundqvist(instead of Robertsson) plus a 1 would give you that so this wasn't that bad but Rangers sent too many scrubs instead of 4 good players. 3 good players isn't enough

A direct comparison. A league they both played in at roughly the same age.

Dahlin's SHL Totals at 18 years old were 7g-13a-20pts in 41 games played.
Seiders SHL Totals this season at 19 years old are 7g-21a-28 pts in 41 games played

I'm fine to keep Seider and his 3 years left on his ELC vs Dahlin who gets a big raise next year.

Dahlin was scoring 9 goals in the NHL at 18, He was 17 in Sweden

The main Point is Seider is producing in the SHL at a better rate than Dahlin was while being only a year and a half older. He's not that far off what Dahlin was as a prospect in terms of offensive production. Not to mention Seider is Bigger and Seider is Stronger. And he has 3 cheap years left. I'm not trading Seider for Dahiln Straight up. Sounds like you wouldn't trade Dahlin for Seider straight up. So this is a moot argument.

Calm down? So it’s okay for you to take my comment completely out of context and then say it’s ridiculous?

Dahlin is getting paid next year. Seider still has 3 years left on his ELC.

Dahlin's SHL Totals at 18 years old were 7g-13a-20pts in 41 games played.
Seiders SHL Totals this season at 19 years old are 7g-21a-28 pts in 41 games played.

They're pretty comparable players. I'd rather just keep my guy who's going to be cheaper the next 3 seasons.

Dahlin was 17 not 18 for that SHL season , he played in the NHL at 18

You obviously liked it enough to post in the ACGM titled "Best deals Ive seen for Buffalo" but when someone doesn't like it you are really quick to push the blame on to someone else. If someone really liked it would you have given him the credit?

A good rule of thumb is don't post anything you aren't ready to defend.
