    I hope you’re not expecting that return on Hall. Leafs keep 1 of those players for sure and if it’s kerfoot they move him elsewhere for the space

    Why would they? That's massive overpay as is. No chance any team in the league gives up a 1C, 1st overall pick, top prospect, and a 1st. That's a brutal trade for NYR.

    If you're tearing it all down, why pay Seattle to take Okposo? I know the cost isn't a ton, but if you can afford it and the money isn't going to hurt them why not keep the pick?

    Need new players/ better veteran leaders. He hasn’t produced and now is a massive overpayment. If when can get him off out books we’ll be better off.
