Description
Assuming the Sabres get the #1 pick and draft Owen Powers. That's why I went crazy grabbing top 6 offensive talent.

I didnt want to revert the trade for Laine, but we probbaly add a 2nd or a B prospect and another pick

they look much better but I'd certainly be tempted to add another dman with your 4.7 million in cap space, someone to replace hickey

I really like Bryson, who is a scratch, I left Hockey in for more of a vetran leadership position back there.

First off Buffalo should not be trading any college prospects that could help them. Second Vegas isn't moving Smith unless they are getting NHL depth. Third any trade with Cody Eakin immediately should include a 1st to take that black hole of offense. There is a reason Vegas moved on from Eakin.

    Reinhart > Laine

Reinhart works harder, is a better leader, and would cost less than Laine. That is a overpay for 2 years of Smith. Really like the Hall trade and I think its pretty realistic

I literally came here to say Vegas declines based on including Eakin alone. They want zero to do with a reunion with him

that's fair but if you dumped him you'd have over 7 mil in cap space to sign a real good veteran d man

I dont disagree. However, the pipeline for Sabres Dman is loaded with mid to bottom 4 potential. Guys that can come up next yr like Samulesson, R. Johnson (put in Vegas trade), Laaksonen, Fitzgerald, Kukkonen, to name a few)
