Idk how serious Chuck is looking for goaltending, but to me there's no chance I'm giving a 1st and Ghost for a rental goalie (as I wouldn't sign him past this season).

I would do it if I were Detroit. First round pick that would be nice, especially if the Flyers miss the playoffs. Gostisbehere could be a reclamation project for the Red Wings who could be flipped for even more picks and worst case scenario, doesn't really hurt the Red Wings cap. Meanwhile Flyers get cap space and a goalie. Fair deal IMO.

I considered adding more from Detroit's side, but then I figured I'd have to add more from PHI's end. And I didn't want to get too crazy.

Gonna be hard no from me. We aren't giving up a top 15 pick for a rental goalie, even if you take Ghost.

So you don't think you're making the PO's?

Would I be able to add someone reasonable from our side (Dman that's not Hronek, reasonable forward) for the same price?
