Why would you rebuild? You're in a playoffs spot and you have a Crosby. Extending the window as much as you can.

Why wouldn't TB just trade Johnson to Detroit?? If the can't afford him they can't afford Zucker.

Why in any good conscience do you think the Oilers would ever do that instead of buying out Neal (1.9 mil cap hit) and playing their cheap young guys who are ready like Bouch to save some dollars?

No chance the Oilers trade Bouchard, they spent the time to develop him properly, something they didn't do well before.

Pens have been playing the best hockey they’ve played in the last year+. No way we’re even considering a retool at the moment. The boys are finally meshing. If they get eliminated in the first round again, then their will be some tough decisions in the offseason.

Julien Brisebios tells Ron Hextall to pound sand if TB is paying that much to shed Johnson it certainly isn't 1. 2 can't take salary back this is horrific.
        Panthers say no thanks.
        Why does Toronto do that?

I honestly would not mind this trade as Letang is a 3 time cup champ and would be a very good partner with Muzzin and be an improvement over brodie on PP unit 2, heck run both guys on unit 2.

        just picture

        Rielly-Brodie
        Muzzin-Letang
        Dermott-Holl

that would be a solid Dcore for a team wanting to make a push

while Liligren could become amazing losing him and a 2nd for 1.5 years of letang may pay off
