Ulmark has never played in the playoffs, despite him looking good, it's as much a crapshoot as Campbell is. I wouldn't give up a 1st for him.

I imagine playing behind Buffalo and still putting up decent numbers is testament to his ability to not crack under pressure lol

Buffalo really can’t trade Ullmark either. Hutton is injured and horrendous, they can’t have Tokarski playing the rest of the season.

Because they should look to extend him. He’s a decent goalie just needs to stay healthy.

It’s a double edged sword. If you have an opportunity to get some really good assets in return for him it’s hard to say no. But if you think you can’t bring him back as a free agent if you trade him away you just might have to keep him. I’m not sure there’s a better goaltender hitting the market this summer. I think the Sabres would try to bring him back even if they did trade him away. I just don’t know if he would come back.

Playoffs are a different story, he hasn't been good enough to help them win so how would he do if he was on a better team? It's hard to say, one thing we can say is Campbell has been great and is on the team already. Andersen will hopefully get healthy and then what's the point.
