All the suggested trades are just thrown together - don't take too seriously but focus on whos the contracts and if I missed any/ any teams that need help lemme know. Wanna see the Sharks options for growing their asset pool for taking cap dumps.

no real reason to move stralman
his contract is up right when barkov's is, so no issues there

Rask is not bad enough to pay to dump. 2M retained for the final year, and you can probably move him for a late pick, if you need. Worst case scenario, buy him out for very little. If someone was willing to take on the full 4M for the last season, I'd probably give up a 5th, maybe a 4th, but any more than that and I wouldn't consider it.

It’s gonna be 3-way retention, doubt SJ is going to pick up any players, just their cap.

          A) Henriques contract isn’t that bad. He had a bad start but is now heating up ( 5 points in 5 games I think but I could be wrong )

          B) Lundestrom is one of our best prospects / rookies right now

          C) Ducks are in no position to trade ANY first round picks right now

          D) Ducks aren’t trading with a division rival like San Jose

Arizona will likely just let Hjalmarsson expire, same with Anaheim and Henrique who has been good. I'd say the most realistic is the Komarov deal

Anaheim has no reason to move Henrique's contract even if this year is a harbinger of worse to come -- we have the cap space and the cash to simply eat it. We might take "only" a prospect for him, but we wouldn't go to the extreme of paying a prime prospect like Lundestrom or a first or a second in order to move him.

I just went threw all teams and picked contracts that seemed "reasonable" to move for the other team.

Ducks have no need to move him but the term is long so the sharks wouldnt have interest anyways as I implied and his waive early makes it a undesirable contract so I just included him - but yee the cost if needed to be moved likely wouldnt be worth it (and hes playing well again which i didnt care to check as yall pointed out).

Both bozak and hj moves are just based on team needing space. as i included in the deals and my comments the sharks are sending assets back there (4th) so its obvious its not a second to dump them as theyd need something back - but i get what youre saying tho the trades are just base's theres obvious needs to be fixed for the teams if these moves happened.

wild dont really need to move rask but felt like including him

          and thought so, about FLA

Komerov is plausible but I wonder what dougs full plan is. as klara said - I could see that 3way is the most likely case but we do have 6m so its better to see what all the contracts are rather than try and figure out 3 ways as those are always complicated, and hard to predict.

I think Hammer has positive value.... retain him 50% and he's a viable buy as a DFD on many teams. He's having a down year more than being a bad player.

Would expect Loui to cost around what Marc Staal did. A 2nd and 3rd at most.

Komarov and Johnson are the most likely players listed here to be moved

Komarov and Johnson are the most likely players listed here to be moved

TJ definitely should be on the Sharks radar. If they can pull a first and a prospect its worth it. I think the Sharks shoulda done it back in the offseason.

          You hit all four points.

Hjalmarsson, Rask and Bozak are all overpaid but none of them are cap dumps to me

I think the days of trading 1st round picks or high end prospects to get rid of players contracts are over. Teams are better off being worse for the remainder of that bad players contract than losing a potential star player.

Virtually every time a team did it in the past, it bit in the arse later on. I think GMs have finally learned from it.

The cost to dump a player is over inflated, a 1st 2nd and 3rd to dump 1 year of Eriksson? 2 years of Ladd for a prospect a 1st and 2 2nds? Thats not plausible. Bozak and Komarov both go for seconds which is way more plausible but not on the same page value-wise as the Eriksson or Ladd trades. Gms have no reason to do those trades

I think the Henrique one and the Stralman ones are a bit overvalued for what it would take and a couple of the UFA ones wouldnt make sense for the other teams, i think the big ones like ladd and eriksson are pretty close though

I think Wild consider your offer. Wild don't necessarily need to move Rasks contract but wild are also getting Gambrell who is a young right shot center so maybe if Wild scouts see some value in him then I could see this happening.
