I think Kekalainen would opt instead to tell Adams to go ahead and try and take the shot if he has the balls for it. grin

I think Buffalo needs to come back to earth on a price for Eichel and make a deal. Buffalo needs to build from the back. Defense alone will keep you in games, steal wins, and make you more competitive again. Korpisolo, Werenski, Domi, 1st rnd pick. The issue with Laine is i don’t think taking on his salary is what Buffalo needs. Plus the way he is playing and just from a mental standpoint i don’t trust Laine.

Why in the world would SJ trade for Hall, especially at that price?

No way Sharks do that nor do we even want/need Hall. Remember - We are re-tooling/refreshing/rewhatevering so young guys are getting chances, not trading them for vets lol. Ozzy ain't going anywhere.

Absolutely not, everyone else needs to come back to earth and stop pretending hes going to be moved

Laine + Roslovic = PL Dubois
Laine probably gets them a decent middle 6 NHLer a prospect and a 1st

I think gm’s are nuts to trade for Laine right now, i’ve been watching him all year and don’t know what he is. He looks lost and not a complete player willing to do any work to earn the puck. You don’t gamble on a guy with his salary. I don’t see how he does not deserve a solid paycut next contract

All the news i see says he wants out and isn’t that happy. Obviously i read news with a grain of salt but the reports out of Buffalo are glaring. Buffalo has to make hard choices to be competitive again and that probably means giving up a guy you don’t want to. Believe me as a CBJ fan, i know the feeling. Even if the trade is not with Columbus i think you should trade Eichel for other more pressing needs but these two teams can help each other imo.

He is clearly unhappy and his body language has spoken volumes.

He was hurt in the offseason and was playing through a neck injury that has kept him out a month and maybe another 1. His body language said he was playing through pain, and players dont play through pain on teams they've given up on. Sabres shut him down when it was obvious his play was suffering.
