Description

O'Connor apparently suffered a strain or sprain of some sort last night and it sounds like he'll be out for a bit. With Calvert also out this would be a good opportunity to get Kaut into some NHL games. Alternatively it could be Bowers. It feels a bit early for Newhook but he might be an outsider for that promotion. It would be fun to see those prospects all together in the AHL this week though, so perhaps they'll just go with O'Brien or the boring Dries/Tynan/Megna...

It should be Kaut but they will have it be Sherwood or Dries.

Where did you see he is out for a bit?

Oh, and Sherwood will probably be the guy. He is good for that line.

Oh yeah, forgot about Sherwood. I agree, I'd expect it to be him. He's a pretty close like-for-like replacement for O'Connor, and his last game on the 4th line was one of the 4th lines best games of the season, at least at that point of the season.

He missed most of the game last night, and Bednar was talking about him having a sprain or muscle injury of some sort. It seems quite clear that he'll miss some time based on that.

Didn't Bednar say he's hopeful LOC won't miss time? I didn't see it but that's what I heard second hand.
