Pretty close, add in a b prospect or a 5th and I think wings trade works. It's legit close and pretty fair, just needs a tiny bit more to get it finished

Sure we'll take Gostisbehere. Here, you can have our Vlasic in exchange. Thanks, bye.

True but only for the right price. A Gost cap dump costs at the very least a 2nd rounder and a good prospect/another pick. Considerably more than what’s here.

You can't send Hart down, he is not waivers exempt.

The Sharks said for ASSETS they will utilize their cap space. More so Gost is longer than just this season - I believe 2 more left after this correct? That means even more assets need to be gained because the Sharks require space after next year for atleast 3 new big contracts:

    Ferraro - 2-5m = likely 3.5-4.5mil
    Leonard - 2-4m = likely 2.5-3mil
    Knyzhov - 2-5m = likely 2.5-3.5mil

And as mentioned we are looking to acquire young assets or picks.

So Gost at 4.5m is negative value. For 2 more seasons, even more negative value. You’re looking at least a good prospect and a pick. Probably a good prospect and a 2nd and maybe another asset. Otherwise the Sharks just can take on 1 years or retain on a 3 way instead. We didn’t claim waivers for reason. It’s a bad contract.

If you want to turn that 4th rounder into a 1st rounder then maybe we can talk. Otherwise this is laughable. We will take your $4.5 million guy you just put through waivers unclaimed for a garbage AHL player and a 4th round pick? Yeah, easiest of no's on that one.

He's on an elc so they have the cap room to just bench him on the roster

You knew that once SJ said they take on money most people did not hear anything past that. Every Capped out teams fans will be looking for their cap dump and a 4rd to SJ for something that seem as useful.
