The Kings need to use their cap space to get a top LD or top LW, adding to their greatest area of strength (center-postion) with an injured superstar on an off-season doesn't make sense. The Kings need to make a big swing on a Laine, Werenski, or Dahlin. Eichel is staying in Buffalo because no one will pay what he is worth.

Switch Turcotte for Byfield, but you're right there on the correct cost for Jack. Maybe swap the 2 for a 23 or 24 1st and we'd want them unprotected

I can see trading one of our anticipated future cornerstone players for Jack Eichel, but not two, let alone three. Our rebuild is coming along fine, and adding Eichel for the coming season doesn't turn us into a serious contender next year. If we ever contend for a Stanley Cup, it will be due to a lot of talent and a lot of depth, not Eichel and stooges. We have a great future at center, left wing, both defense sides and starting goalie; stripping the team for Eichel doesn't make sense.
