You think that’s gets you Hanifin or Garland?

I think it’s pretty close actually. Grze is “close” on his own. Ritchie is a big body to help when they play EDM and Montreal and was close to 1 PPG (and can cuddle with his bro). Smith is a good middle-6. Has term and a good contract.

And Garland again is pretty close. Former 1st rounder and a 1st. ArIzona wants prospects they don’t have to pay. Evgeny could turn it around with a better role available. He has skills. Not as much as his Bro but they are there.

There are 0 1st's in the garland trade, he's worth at least a first and a second, especially with the contract he is on

Agree on the 1st and 2nd for Garland, but think Svechnikov is the type of player/contract that they are looking for. Could maybe add another prospect not named Studnicka to the mix.

Waiver claim and a 2nd for Garland is not two 1sts. You’re closer on Hanifin trade tho.

If that's the case, then the yotes just pick him up off waivers and don't give away their best player for a second rounder. Has to be a first or a blue chipper in a deal for Garland.

Would sweeten with Kase because there was interest before. I know his history and so did Calgary when they were interested

Trade would happen after the Bruins claimed him. I guess ARZ can claim as well and they win because they are lower standing? Not sure how that works outside of playing fantasy leagues and I’m not sure the same rules apply.

Disagree. All trades are pretty close. There won’t be a lot of movement this TDL so teams will take what they can get. Garland being the only exception because his contract is ripe for the picking. As mentioned before. Arizona wants costs controlled assets and picks. This gets them that and I would sweeten with another prospect not named Studnicka

What if Bruins sent a 2nd with Debrusk for Mantha and moved the 1st to Zona?

I don’t think CGY is far off at all. They get some upgrades and experience all around with that deal.

2nd and Debrusk probably doesnt get you Mantha.

Calgary wouldnt move Hanifin for Grzelcyk and a 1st. Smithand Ritchie have very little value to them

I agree a 2nd and Debrusk won't get Mantha. Honestly I don't think a 1st and Debrusk will get Mantha. There is absolutely no reason for Detroit to trade Mantha he just signed a 3yr team friendly deal. I do like Debrusk but Mantha's celling is quite a bit higher and Debrusk is having an bad season.

There is 0% chance any of those trades are close. You won't get mantha without swayman or Beacher on the deal either, that's how the wings are moving forward and that's the types of players they want

Yep, waiver claim priority is just reverse league standings. So if Arizona wanted Svechnikov they could just claim him before Boston ever had a chance at him.
