There is absolutely NO way that PIT trades Crosby to any team, and I don’t think he would want to be traded either

In January, when the Penguins were way out of the playoffs, this would have been debatable. Right now, you could throw in Kadri and Burakovsky and not be quite sure what they'd say.

Please Crosby,Letang, nor Malkin are going anywhere

1. Crosby will retire a penguin
2. IF Cosby ever requested a trade it wouldn’t be after this season
3. IF Crosby was traded to the AVs the package would look more like this:

Overpay.... yes.... but it would easier for the pens to get McKinnon than for the AVs to get Crosby. No disrespect, it’s just that Mario would have to convince Sid to be traded.

No matter what you offer Pittsburg they are not trading Crosby. He is carrying that team body and soul. That being said have to applaud the thought. If he were on the market you would have to add Justin Barron and 2022 1st to get it done. Your original offer comes closer on Malkin but again don't think Pittsburg is trading him. The way they are playing they are looking to come out of the East and be in the Final Four. Any ones game from there.

This is patently false. Not saying it would be easy to get Crosby, but you'd have to sell the farm to get Mackinnon. Crosby's never leaving the Pens though, it's just not happening, nor would the Avs ever give up a package that looks remotely like what you have above to get him.

I would “sell the farm” to get McKinnon as a pens fan, and the sad reality of it is that the pens farm is not much, has not been much, and won’t be much until Sid hangs it up.
If you mean the FARM as the current nhl players, that’s not going to happen because teams competing for a championship only trade futures; draft pics, prospects, etc.. not real core pieces.

That's not an overpay, thats a downright heist. Crosby, with his injury history and age would not cost that much. If Pens GM we're shopping him with full intent to move him then the price would be substantially lower. It would be more like this

I didn't even know the Pens had a farm lol. It's so depleted it's not even funny.

There isn’t a reality that exists that that trade happens. A 1C prospect, a 19yr old top pairing d man, a top 4 d prospect, another middle 6 C prospect and 2 1st rd picks, you are in its rawest form talking 5 1st rd picks and a 2nd. This is possibly the stupidest trade followed by an even dumber statement of it being easier for the Pens to get MacKinnon than the Avs getting Crosby. Like what ever you are drinking switch to water.

And here we have the hardcore pens fan thinking Crosby is still the best player in the world and still is 25. Dude you’re not trading for McDavid. Maybe this was a little bit too low but at the same time he turns 34 this year and has his injury history. Are any team going to give 2 first rounders plus 2 really good prospect for him? Of Course not that could give you Eichel instead as Buffalo has that as their asking price. Then you would rather go for him. I don’t think that Crosby will get moved but if so I this package would still be really nice. And Crosby would love to play with his buddy Nathan.
