Depth scoring just isn't there. Coyle needs to wake up, and part of that is giving him some good players to play with. 4th line needs more energy because right now, there is nothing happening. Until Kase comes back, Senyshyn, Steen and Studnicka can prove themselves on 3RW

Lucic was great but pre-2017, 4th line won't be better with him especially if you have 2 AHLers on his line. Don't think Foligno changes much but I guess it's a good plan C. Zboril > Lauzon.

I disagree, I think Foligno would be a great add for Coyle. And yea the Lucic move isn't necessary, but I think he'd love to be back in Boston and wake up the 4th line. Kuraly just isn't doing it anymore

I think people underestimate Foligno killing any trades. He's got a 10 team list.
He's got small kids. He's settled in CBJ as of right now. Don't see him up and leaving.
We'll see what happens for him in the offseason. But as of right now. Highly doubtful he leaves CBJ.

Nashville is in the playoffs right now so doubtful they are trading Ekholm this year. That would keep DeBrusk to play 3 LW and Bjork for 4 LW. Grasping at straws for Senyshyn, Steen or Studnicka to be 3 RW. Coyle played RW today with Kuraly at center. Maybe with DeBrusk they can form a competitive 3rd line.

Preds are no longer sellers.

Flames trade is horrible. Want no part of Looch.

Ekholm off the market as Preds are back in playoff hunt. Price of poker has went up.

Right now the theory is that he might go as a rental and then come back in free agency.

His rental price is higher than that, tho.

What about Scandella as a cheap LHD option? He looks like one of our few expendable LHD at this point and he’s solid in his own end.

Yeah I could see him coming back to Columbus after the season.

Are they seriously looking to trade him and what are they asking?

They might, we’ll expose him to Seattle so if we could get anything, that’d be better than losing him for nothing. A mid round pick would suffice.
