I think Benning has stated he's not gonna move draft picks to unload a bad contract. Besides Rousell, Beagle, and Eriksson are only on for 1 more yr

Crosby once vetoed the idea of management trading Malkin. I know that Burke and Hextall are no push-overs, but I doubt that they would let Malkin go if Crosby still says no unless Malkin's asking price is absurdly high. As for Letang, idk. It's hard to imagine what Pittsburgh would look like with only Crosby left of the old core.

It’s not clickbait media, it is a source that I really trust.
Malkin doesn’t play gritty or a system at all, I don’t believe that management will keep him in the offseason.
