When I had it I just felt like I had a headache and my nose was stuffy. But my brother was basically bed ridden for a few days. It all depends on how your immune system responds to it

The variant is far worse. The variant is supposed to be between 50 and 60% more likely to land people in various age ranges in the ICU. Nurses are reporting that they are consistently putting people in their 20's on ventilators and the ICU is full of young people. All the best to those affected and their families.

I hope these guys recover quickly. Really goes to show how this could have been prevented if the government actually cared enough. The Canucks were doing the right things, except for Travis Green taking his mask off from time to time to talk to the players and stuff like that. He might have the virus. Unfortunately, this P.1 variant of COVID took hold quickly, and it doesn’t give a flying **** if you had COVID in the past, like it has with Jayce Hawryluk.

This is the Brazilian variant I am talking about. Scientists and other experts call it the P.1 variant. As of now, there are 584 cases of said variant in Canada, many of them in the Lower Mainland, primarily from Whistler.

Nobody's talking about it but on the low end a 50% jump in hospital admission and ICU cases in a year and multiple variants is damn scary. If we get even a mild jump in severity and 3 dangerous variants a year we are going to need an easily adaptable vaccine. That could get insanely bad insanely fast. In another year or two it would make the main initial variant most of the world knows look like a joke.

The variants are nothing to fool around with! These things are wiping out young healthy people and the governments don't seem to care.
