That Foligno proposal got turned down elsewhere and repeating it doesn't change the assessment. The asking cost is in the neighborhood of a late 1st and a B prospect - and Bellows isn't of value to the Jackets.

Hall won't return a first. Good luck with that ask.

I think that CBJ should take that trade. I’m not sure they can get any better.

He's the team captain and is the biggest advocate for the team and the city pretty much ever. He's not being moved for trivialities. It's not a typical "available for sale" situation.

If jarmo and foligno can’t agree on a deal he has two options : keep him and lose him for nothing or get the best available offer (most likely a 2nd + 4th). With Columbus needing a retool, it makes sense to move him.

Do you perhaps not realize how incredibly, astronomically unlikely this scenario is?

Jeez like he's of value to anyone naturally -positional nuances don't determine value- but do you mean they'd prefer a different prospect ultimately?

I mean In fairness NJ don't seem to want to spend the cap and yeah some UFAs are up and no big RFAs need deals asap but with Komarov having an extra year at 3M it seems like that alone costs a 2nd or so I mean at least with the cap being so tight elsewhere

Even if Jarmo does deal Foligno it is very likely he signs back if Columbus wants it. Foligno has value because he is a player in demand. His style of play and overall ability is highly sought after for playoff teams.

2 2nds might be enough for Palms but you need more if you want us taking Komarov back
