Kevin Hayes is a low end 1C, high end 2C. Numbers speak for themselves

Which is low to mid 2C production. That's consistently ranked 50-60th. The only thing close to 1C about him is his contract. So like I said, put the 1st on the other side.

I'd rather have Zucc's contract than Hayes'.

From Philly's perspective, that 1st is just gravy smile

Gotta think Hayes NTC kills the deal anyway.

I think Kaprizov costs much more, and Fiala a bit more.

Fiala is probably spot on for dollars. Term could be less, could be more. All the best comps put him in the 5.5 to 6 range over 4-5 years. It’s not a bad look for the team.

If the term was the same I’d be all in. Fantastic idea though.

Hope so I have him pegged for 6.5 million over 4.

I take it Parise waives his NMC. Only way, other than a huge payment, Greenway isn't Seattle's pick...

Take a look at Bjorkstrand and Teravienen as comparables. I can only see him hitting that ceiling or a AAV less at less term. I don’t think the new contract situation were in is that bad. JEE will get 3 to 4 in the 3.5 to 4 range, just hasn’t got the counting stats for a 5 mil arb award.

You can have whichever opinion you want about each player, but Hayes is the better hockey player lmao. Centers are more valuable, especially when they can play PP or PK.

Zucc and Hayes both have NMCs, so this is pretty much moot :/

Who did you protect in this scenario? How did you convince them to take Soucy?
